Marny Pradl: President

The LSA President is responsible for overseeing all activities of our
faculty association, including its day-to-day operations. It is my job to
advocate for the interests of all law students at University of Alberta and
ensure accountability from your student representatives. The LSA President
sets the agenda and chairs the weekly LSA executive meeting, held on
Monday's during the lunch hour. The LSA President also meets with the Dean
on a regular basis to promote student's interests and address any concerns
students may have.

It is my pleasure to serve as your LSA President during the 2009-2010
academic year. I look forward to working with many of you over the course of
this year.

Chantel Cabaj: VP Sports

As VP Sports, it is my responsibility to help provide the student body with opportunities to stay physically active.  This includes organizing the LSA Intramural program, the El-Hacko Golf Tournament and the winter Curling Tournament.  For alternative fitness opportunities, I will provide students with information on various fitness classes and races held in the Edmonton area.  This information will be available on the sports bulletin board outside of The Gavel.  If you have any question on intramurals, races or want to get involved in something currently not offered by the LSA, contact me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Pam Lindsay: VP Social (2L)

As VP Social (2L) I am responsible for encouraging the student body to become active in the social aspects of law school.  Events I am responsible for organizing (with VP Social 3L) include: Year End Party, First year Pre-Orientation, First Friday Back, Carbolic Smokeball, and various smaller events such as Campus Cup, Med-law Mixer, and Jeopardy FABS.

John Chandler: VP External

As VP External I am responsible for matters external to but affecting the LSA. My main job requires me to attend  CoFA meetings.
